The Other  Approach

Western medicine is based on killing bacteria, fungus and viruses and suppressing symptoms. Homeopathy, on the other hand, strengthens the body so it is not susceptible to them.

Homeopathy does not kill offending organisms or suppress symptoms; yet people have been cured of cholera and chronic diseases using only homeopathy. It is used by The Royal Family of England. Certainly the Queen, one of the wealthiest people on this earth, would not choose homeopathy if it was an inferior medical modality!

Homeopathy works with the body to strengthen it so offending organisms can no longer survive. If the biological terrain remains the same, the offending agents will  return because we live in a world filled with them, and they are always mutating!

As for symptoms, we know  there is a reason for them. Suppress them and a worse symptom will pop up somewhere else! For example: when you eat something bad or you get diarrhea, it makes sense to empty the body. Why plug it up? What is Homeopathy? The principles of homeopathy go back to the Greeks; the practice as we know it has evolved over the past 200 years. Homeopathy is a form of natural healing. The remedies are made from herbs, plants and minerals. They are prepared in a very unique way which releases their healing potential. A homeopath uses this natural approach to healing not only to stimulate the body to heal itself, but also to strengthen the immune system. What Homeopathic Remedies Do Homeopathic remedies have been tested on people (not animals - although they work quite well on them too!) by giving these people the original substance or the remedy many, many times over a long period. When these people started to become sick, the homeopath took detailed notes of their physical, and emotional symptoms. In homeopathy this is called a proving. Then, the remedies (the vibrations of these substances) were given to people who were imbalanced, or sick, in just the same way as the provers had gotten sick. The vibration stimulates, naturally, the sick person's body to heal itself. The concept of vaccines came from seeing homeopathy work! Vaccination is actually quite different than homeopathic principles, because homeopaths use a vibration, not the physical substance, to stimulate the healing of a condition already present. The remedies are then given orally. The Truth About Homeopathy Anyone treated by a homeopath can attest to it's efficacy. It works on animals, babies and unconscious people. Hardly what we would call the "placebo effect"! Yet that is what most traditional medical people would call it since they can't find material substance in homeopathic remedies beyond 12C potency. Unfortunately, to date, no reliable device has been invented to determine vibrations and energy patterns. I lived in India for eight months where I was asked to treat many westerners and Tamils (in an international community named Auroville). I was struck that the book which was the most helpful as a guide to my treatment of dysentery in so many people was written, after many years of practical experience, by a homeopath in 1896! It was in it's 13th printing. In what field of allopathic medicine would a book written in 1896 hold totally accurate, valuable information as to which medicines to use and how to treat? There is a timeless quality to real truths. Such are the principles of homeopathy. Classical homeopathy has no "fads". What worked for a specific combination of symptoms in 1896 still works today for that same combination of symptoms. How Homeopathy Works Homeopathy works by stimulating the body to heal itself. Homeopaths do not treat diseases, they treat the whole person, emotionally as well as physically. Homeopathy can be effective in stimulating all levels of the individual; this may include inherited tendencies, chronic or acute problems, acute illness, emotional issues and traumas. It is effective for all ages from babies to the elderly, and can safely be used during pregnancy and birth. Homeopathy was very successful when typhoid and cholera raged through the U.S. (See Harris Coulter's "Divided Legacy", Vol. 3) Homeopathy for Inherited Tendencies The action of homeopathic remedies can be effective in reducing susceptibility to family predispositions such as allergies, weak lungs, arthritis, etc. Homeopathy for Chronic Physical Problems Most of us live with uncomfortable symptoms we wish we didn't have - chronic coughs, PMS, hot flashes, aches and pains, skin problems, indigestion, or chronic fatigue, to mention only a few. A homeopath will consider all emotional issues along with these physical symptoms to arrive at the appropriate remedy to balance the whole person - physically and emotionally. Homeopathy for Acute Problems Flus, earaches, inflammations, coughs, chest colds, etc. are effectively and quickly treated with homeopathy. The uniqueness of homeopathy lies in its ability to stimulate the body into healing itself; therefore homeopathy works for symptoms resulting from both viral and bacterial infections. The correct homeopathic remedy quickly removes the cause as well as the symptoms of acute problems. Homeopathy for Emotional Issues Homeopathy is powerful - even in some cases miraculous - in helping individuals deal with emotional issues and become more balanced. Both long-term imbalances like irritability, PMS, grief resulting from divorce or death, and other emotional issues can be affected.
